Internal filter or mudbox serie G, allow to leach the cooling water before arriving to the engine. It is in cast iron, the filtering element in bronze and the spring in stainless steel.

Outside filter or sea water suction strainer serie F, is placed on the keel and serves to keep coarse impurities. It is built in bronze and it is available in three versions.
